Zachary Barfuss – PT
(Airdrie Physiotherapist)
Zach grew up in Airdrie and is now happy to be back in the City to practice as a Physiotherapist, a profession he describes as being very dear to his heart.
Zach completed his Masters in Physical Therapy at University of Alberta, having previously completed his Bachelors of Kinesiology at University of Calgary.
Zach has experience working with patients of all ages. He uses integrated exercise, education, and manual therapy to help his patients to achieve their personal goals. Zach is passionate about integrating evidence in his practice. He also believes in building a strong therapeutic alliance with his patients, while collaborating with them to find options that work for them.
His clinical interests include sports and orthopedic injuries, motor vehicle accident injuries and work-related injuries.
Outside of work, Zach enjoys playing baseball, basketball and volleyball. He is a youth minister in his church, and loves to spend quality time with his wife and two kids.
