Krista Silverwood – PT
(Airdrie Physiotherapist - Pelvic Health Therapist)
Born and raised in Calgary, Krista graduated from the University of Calgary with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology before obtaining her Master of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Alberta.
Krista has experience working with kids and adults of all age ranges, including both neurological and musculoskeletal conditions. She uses an exercise focused approach combined with manual hands on techniques to create a strong rehab program that fits into her patients lifestyles. She uses an evidence based approach and focuses on patient education to ensure they receive the best care. Krista believes in building a strong therapeutic alliance with her patients and collaborating with them to find options that work for them.
Krista has also completed Level 1 Pelvic Health Certification
Outside of work, Krista enjoys hiking, swimming and yoga, and can also be found spending time with her dog.
